MABORITE NON-STICKING POWDER
Maborite has the same composition as Mabor Magnesia Cupels. Its main advantages are:
- Prevents Cupels from sticking to Trays & Hearths
- Stops Litharge / Flux attack: increase refractory life
- Noxious PbO vapour emissions are notably reduced

When cupellation is completed, and the precious metal buttons are cool, they need to be removed from the cupel with Assay Pliers and cleaned.
To clean them, simply squeeze the buttons with the assay pliers and brush their undersides carefully with a brush to remove any adhering cupel material. We have two different brushes to achieve this. One with a replaceable glass fiber mine, and a reducable brush made of horse hair.

POLISHED HAMMER AND POLISHED ANVIL FOR BEAD FLATTENING
If the bead is not flattened and laminated , there is the risk that some silver remains secluded into the gold, and therefore the parting process with boiling nitric acid would not be 100% effective.

A roll holder is very convenient in order not to manipulate the heavy lead foil roll everytime we need to cut some foil. Our lead foil roll holder is made of stainless stell which warranties a very long life.
